Art class is a huge part of TAPA’s heart. During the week there are a variety of classes specifically designed for students based on age.
Artists of all levels and abilities create unique pieces using clay, mixed media, water colors, acrylic paints, canvas, chalk, pencils, and just about everything else you can think of!
Teen+ Art is for students ages 16+ who work on self portraits, sculpture, jewelry making, and much more. This class has had artwork featured in art shows at The Long Beach a Public Library and on the front of our holiday cards.
The younger art class has just as much fun and is for students of all abilities. Students work with magic foam, create installations for our studio walls, and have their artwork featured at the Long Island Children’s Museum and at our annual Art show.
And all Saturday Respite students take art class each week and work on seasonal projects and designs.
