The Indiana Repertory Company has made history by casting an actor who has Autism in the lead role of “The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time,” a play based on the mystery novel in which the main character is a 15-year-old boy on the Autism Spectrum. The show has opened and they are getting rave reviews! Casting authentically is a growing practice that’s been a long time coming and we are excited to see more and more of it in the Arts.
